Associate

Gopika joined deMaine Seeberger PLLC as an associate attorney following years of experience as a legal assistant at a fellow leading medical malpractice law firm in Seattle. This experience gives her valuable insight into the innerworkings of a busy trial practice focused on defending physicians and healthcare institutions.

During law school, Gopika earned a public interest law foundation scholarship, which supports students interested in advocating for marginalized communities. She represented former employees in administrative law hearings, served individuals seeking asylum from domestic violence and human trafficking, and counseled a multi-national corporation to develop labor policies complying with international legal standards. These various roles allowed her to assist diverse underrepresented populations in need of access to justice, and she looks forward to continuing that service through her pro bono activities.

Outside of work, Gopika enjoys trying new restaurants, rooting for Seattle sports teams, and spending time with her friends and family.
